Hitchhiking with rain it sucks! But I am quite in a good mood. At least during the first hour. I have The Hulk covered with it s new rain cover, my small backpack covered with a plastic bag, and I am wearing my rain cover.
About one hour and a half later, a couple stops. I am so happy that somebody finally stopped, that I don’t even ask how far they are going. When I am putting my backpack in the trunk, the guy tells me they are driving only about 10 min. But I am happy about getting a little bit out of the outskirt of Bucharest. But after I am inside of the car for a few minutes, they tell me they have decided to drive me to Sinaia. What? It is a over one hour driving!
M. and O. tell me they like to visit Sinaia. And they can go visit M.’s parents any other day. That was their original plan, to where they were driving when they picked me up.
We talk and talk and when we arrive in Sinaia, there is some traffic. They ask me if I want to have some pizza in this apparently really nice place, to take away, of course, and I accept. The only thing i that the pizza place is about 30 minutes driving from Sinaia. It takes time for the pizza but it worth it because it is delicious! When we finishing eating in the car, they tell me they want to drive to this “fish place”, because M. loves fish and her pizza it was not as she likes.
Right, so we are already about 30 minutes away from Sinaia and there is a huge traffic jam to go back, meaning I would have to hitchhike here, in the middle of this small town, if I decide not to come with them. So I decide to accept.
The fish place is fancy and in the shape of a ship. I looked out for it but I couldn’t find it. I am still full from the pizza so I tell them I will not order anything. They insist but I still say no.
Unfortunately, soon enough they start to have a argument and don’t finish until we get back to Sinaia. I don’t know what to do so I just remain quiet in the back seat.
They drive me to the monastery and soon enough another incredible journey of mine starts…
