And definitely not one of those places where everything fits comfortably into a single aesthetic or category.
Instead, the vision is a collection of different worlds under one roof.
The Peculiar Kind is being built for people who are curious about unusual books, strange history, folklore, games, art, dark humor, local makers, good stories, and things that don’t fit neatly into one category.
And beyond retail, the plan is to create space for events, authors, artists, games, discussions, workshops, and community.
