Founder Story – Building My Way Out of Corporate Life

The Peculiar Kind started with a pretty simple realization: I don’t want to spend the rest of my working life building someone else’s thing.

I’ve spent years in the corporate world, and I’m at the point where I want to take everything I’ve learned about leadership, people, ideas, problem-solving, and building things—and use it to create something that actually feels like mine.

The Peculiar Kind is that something.

I’m still working the corporate job. I’m still figuring out how to finance the bigger vision. I’m still learning how to make videos, build an audience, create products, grow a business, and turn a slightly ridiculous number of ideas into something real.

And I’m doing it one piece at a time.
