28th of April, 2018.
I do not have much hope in getting something from the school Naitan told me about it. Either that or I really want something related with the gorillas.
I visit the Fund again, this time spending more time and visiting the whole exposition. I was such a fool for not liking her just because of the movie. I take the opportunity to get some pictures of the map of the mountains. I was preparing myself to hiking alone over there in case all I had were negative answers.
The people responsible for the place are in a meeting again. The receptionist tell me to came back at lunch time.
Meanwhile I go to Excel looking for Naitan and what a surprise: he is in there! He tells me about looking for a house for me to stay because at the school it is not possible. I just say thank you for everything and leave.
I get to the Doctors Gorilla, just in the next block, as Ken had told me. I talk with this nice man called Michael Cranfield, who even in a rush, listen to my story. He tells me it is not easy to catch the gorillas without being in a tracking but he would see what he could do. I get his card and leave happy for had met him.
I walk a little bit around until lunch time. Unfortunately, once in there the receptionist tell me they just had left. But she say to have good news: I should write them an email explaining about my skills and everything and maybe they could do something. She even gave me the tips of Crema Coffee’s fifteen minutes wi-fi free.
I sit down under a three in a quite street and start to write. I thought it would be nice to write in a different way, kind of cinematography one, actually I even mentioned that as you can check, and then they might realize my skills as a writer or just be touched by my honesty and my story.
At the Coffee House I do what I could in the time I had. I send the email but it is basically that. By that time I also see an email from Elias, the good one saying that I could stay in his brother’s house. I answer that I am still checking a few opportunities but if I do not get anything I would go over there.
At night, I thought I should meet Saidi and Celestine in the restaurant at eight o’clock. I mean, at least that it is what I though he said. Actually Saidi had said ‘eighteen’ and not ‘eight’. Luckily, after waiting for me for a while and then go back home, he sent Celestine looking for me and he found me.
Next day I have nothing to do so the plan it is just to stay at home and to write.
